Born into a family with a rich musical heritage Chris Ulery discovered his
passion for music at an early age. By the time he was 12 years old he had
already began regularly playing drums for his church, and by the time he was
a young teenager had won multiple contests and awards for his musical
abilities. After gigging all through high school Chris moved to Nashville, TN
and enrolled in Thunder School, a three month extensive training course for
musicians seeking to enter the Christian music industry. Doors soon opened
that allowed him to put into use everything he had learned.
Now at age 24 Chris has traveled all across the United States performing and
touring with artists such as FFH, Matthew West, Francesca Battistelli, Jon
Foreman, Warren Barfield, Building 429, Salvador, Natalie Grant, Shawn
McDonald, By The Tree, NewFire, Ronnie Freeman, Paul Wright, The Katinas,
Chris Sligh, and more. Performing live for audiences of thousands, as well as
numerous national and international television and radio appearances. Including TBN's JCTV program "1 Music Village," American Family Radio, multiple Dove Award-winning station KXOJ, The WGN Morning Show, Lesea Broadcasting's international flagship television program "The Harvest Show," and many more.
In early 2009 Chris set sail with the popular chart topping Dove-Award winning contemporary Christian music
group FFH who has sold over two million albums and had seven no. 1 radio singles and fifteen top 10. Along with keeping a
rigorous touring schedule with FFH Chris also plays and records with new CCM group NewFire as both
groups often tour together.
